INGREDIENTS
- 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken-flavored stuffing mix
- 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers, crushed
- 2 cans (10 ounces each) cream of chicken soup
- Chicken broth or water, as required
- Hamburger buns, for serving
PREPARATION
- Arrange the chicken breasts in the slow cooker insert. Pour the cream of chicken soup over them.
- Cover and cook on low heat until the chicken easily shreds with two forks, which typically takes around 3 to 4 hours.
- Once the chicken is shredded, add the stuffing mix and crushed Ritz crackers. Cover and continue cooking until the stuffing and crumbs become soft, which usually takes about 30 minutes.
- If the mixture is too thick, you can thin it out with some chicken broth.
- Serve the chicken mixture on hamburger buns and enjoy your delicious meal!
