- 1 1/4 cups pretzels, roughly crushed
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400ยบ F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/2 cup of sugar in a medium bowl, ensuring they are well mixed.
- Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 7 minutes. Once baked, allow it to cool before crumbling it into pieces.
- In a large bowl or using a mixer, beat the softened cream cheese until fluffy, then incorporate the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Gently fold in the drained crushed pineapple and thawed frozen whipped topping until well combined. Allow the mixture to set for 1 hour.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the crumbled pretzel topping over the mixture and gently fold it in. Serve and enjoy!
