Pecan Cream Pie

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  2. Using an electric mixer, beat the heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar in a small bowl until stiff peaks form.

  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined. Then, carefully stir in 1 cup of the finely chopped pecans.
  5. Spread the prepared filling into the cooled pie crust and sprinkle the remaining pecans on top.
