INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- Zest of 1 orange
- ½ cup orange juice
- ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
- 2 cans (10 oz each) refrigerated biscuit dough
- Optional: 1 teaspoon orange extract
PREPARATION:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190°C) and generously grease a large bundt pan.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 ½ cups of sugar with the orange zest, mixing until well blended.
- In another small bowl, whisk together the fresh orange juice, melted butter, and optional orange extract, if desired.
- Take the refrigerated biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters.
- Dip each piece of biscuit dough into the orange juice mixture, making sure they are thoroughly coated, and then roll them in the sugar mixture.
- Arrange the sugar-coated biscuit pieces evenly in the prepared bundt pan.
- Pour any remaining orange juice mixture over the top of the biscuit pieces.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until the bread has a delightful golden brown crust.
- After baking, allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before flipping it onto a serving plate.
- This scrumptious orange-infused pull-apart bread is ready to be served immediately. Enjoy!
