Ingredients:
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (approximately 2 sleeves)
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup (2 sticks) melted butter
- 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 42 oz cherry pie filling

- In a large bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and finely chopped pecans. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture resembles damp sand.
- Firmly press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, using the bottom of a glass or measuring cup to press it down evenly. Place the dish in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
- In another large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the vanilla extract and powdered sugar, and beat until smooth and well combined.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until fully incorporated. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled crust in the baking dish.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly over the top of the cream cheese layer.
- Chill the dessert until ready to serve, for at least 2 hours.
