Ingredients:
- 20 oz almond bark
- 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 6 oz milk chocolate chips
- 1 bag Kraft caramels (the wrapped cube kind)
- 4 cups pecans
Instructions:
- Begin by breaking the almond bark into pieces and combining it with both types of chocolate chips in a crockpot.
- Cook the mixture on low heat for approximately 1 hour or until the chocolate is completely melted, stirring occasionally to ensure uniform melting.
- Once melted, stir in the pecans, ensuring they are evenly coated, and continue cooking for an additional 15 minutes.
- While the chocolate mixture is cooking, prepare two muffin tins by lining them with paper liners and placing an unwrapped caramel or Rolo candy in the center of each liner.
- Using a cookie or ice cream scoop, distribute about ΒΌ cup of the melted chocolate pecan mixture over each caramel in the prepared muffin tins.
- Allow the turtles to cool until they are solidified. If desired, expedite the cooling process by refrigerating them.
- Once solid, transfer the turtles to an airtight container and store them in a cool place until ready to serve. Enjoy these delicious treats!
