Ingredients:

  • 20 oz almond bark
  • 1 (12 oz) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 1 bag Kraft caramels (the wrapped cube kind)
  • 4 cups pecans

Instructions:

  1. Begin by breaking the almond bark into pieces and combining it with both types of chocolate chips in a crockpot.
  2. Cook the mixture on low heat for approximately 1 hour or until the chocolate is completely melted, stirring occasionally to ensure uniform melting.
  3. Once melted, stir in the pecans, ensuring they are evenly coated, and continue cooking for an additional 15 minutes.
  4. While the chocolate mixture is cooking, prepare two muffin tins by lining them with paper liners and placing an unwrapped caramel or Rolo candy in the center of each liner.
  5. Using a cookie or ice cream scoop, distribute about ΒΌ cup of the melted chocolate pecan mixture over each caramel in the prepared muffin tins.
  6. Allow the turtles to cool until they are solidified. If desired, expedite the cooling process by refrigerating them.
  7. Once solid, transfer the turtles to an airtight container and store them in a cool place until ready to serve. Enjoy these delicious treats!
