Ingredients:
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup romano cheese, thickly grated
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley

- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
- Take the Italian bread loaf and carefully slice it in half lengthwise, creating two long halves.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter and garlic powder until well blended.
- In another bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella cheese and thickly grated romano cheese.
- Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over both halves of the Italian bread. Place the buttered bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn a light golden brown.
- Once the bread is out of the oven, generously sprinkle the mixed cheeses over the top, ensuring complete coverage. Return the bread to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese becomes golden brown and starts to bubble.
- After removing the loaf from the oven, allow it to cool for approximately 5 minutes. Finally, garnish the Garlic and Cheese Italian Bread with finely chopped parsley, slice it, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
