Serving six people, this recipe requires just five minutes of preparation and fifteen minutes of cooking time. Note that it contains gluten.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of rectangular butter crackers
- 8-10 slices of bacon
- 3/4 cup of brown sugar
- A pinch of cayenne pepper
- A pinch of freshly ground black pepper

- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil, then place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the crackers on the wire rack, ensuring some space between each one.
- Cut the bacon slices into thirds or fourths, depending on the size that fits the crackers best. Lay the bacon lengthwise on each cracker.
- Sprinkle about 1 heaping teaspoon of brown sugar on top of each slice of bacon. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper and black pepper.
- Bake until the brown sugar starts to melt and the bacon becomes crisp, usually taking 15-20 minutes.
- Allow the crackers to cool and harden before serving. Enjoy!
