INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
  • 3/4 cup sliced almonds

PREPARATION:

  1. To begin, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set this mixture aside.

  5. Carefully fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened coconut flakes, and sliced almonds, ensuring an even distribution throughout the dough.
  6. Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving enough space between each for the cookies to expand while baking.
